Welcome

Welcome to a vibrant community where cultural exchange and international friendship are at the heart of everything we do. The Matsuyama-Sacramento Sister City Corporation (MSSCC) was founded in 1981 by a group of dedicated citizens to foster international relationships between the cities of Sacramento, California, and Matsuyama, Japan. The focus of MSSCC is to experience, through exchange, the unique cultures and traditions of both countries, thereby creating lasting relationships and memories.

Support

By supporting this organization through membership and donation, we uphold values that are essential in today’s interconnected world: mutual understanding, respect, and global citizenship. Through educational programs, cultural events, and exchange opportunities, we not only celebrate our long-standing friendship with Matsuyama but also provide invaluable experiences for those eager to represent our region abroad.

As a small nonprofit, MSSCC relies on generous donations to sustain student exchange programs and cultural activities. Your support helps elementary, junior high, and high school students experience the rich traditions of both Japan and the U.S., fostering lifelong cross-cultural understanding.

Consider making MSSCC part of the organizations you support. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit—Tax ID #94-2831119—and your contributions are tax-deductible.
